Recipe

Basic – Mix with cold water to create a thick batter, drop teaspoon or tablespoon full of batter into hot vegetable oil.  Remove when golden brown and place on paper towel . This basic recipe can be used as a batter for many fried vegetables. (Dip potato slices, aubergines, zucchini’s, spinach, etc into the batter and fry.  A Perfect batter for Spicy Onion Rings

Ama’s Recipe (My mums recipe) – Extra Special Recipe: empty the chilli bite mix into a bowl. add a cut up green chilli, coriander, half teaspoon baking powder.  Then mix with cold water to create a thick batter.  Add whole baby spinach leaves into the batter , mix and then drop a teaspoon or tablespoon full of batter into hot vegetable oil.
